Hike: Panorama Trail Katzenmoos

Small district with a great view We hike on beautiful natural paths, meadows, and forest trails. This circular tour starts at the edge of Elzach at the foot of the Bolzberg. First, we follow the signs towards Oberwinden, hiking above the Brandenberg tunnel while enjoying magnificent views of the Hörnleberg and the surrounding peaks. After a short break at the Mariengrotte, we head steeply uphill to the smallest district of Elzach: Katzenmoos. At an elevation of 535 meters, we reach the Katzenmooser Höhe, the highest point of the tour. In the distance, we can see the Yacher Tausender peaks such as Rohrhardsberg and Braunhörnle. We continue across wide meadows and make a large loop back to the starting point via Biederbach. Walking time: 4 hours, trekking poles recommended.
