"Learning in the old days" - A journey back in time to everyday school life in days gone by

Join us on an exciting journey through time during our public tours of the historic classroom at the Bindhaus Pfullendorf. During the tours, visitors embark on a vivid journey through time, experiencing school life as it was in past decades. Instead of a digital whiteboard, they’ll find a slate; instead of modern seating, simple wooden benches. You won’t find a ballpoint pen here either. The tour vividly illustrates how lessons, discipline, and learning materials were organized in the past—an experience for young and old alike. These special tours, organized by the Local History and Museum Association, also serve as the city’s and the dedicated association’s contribution to the “Education” theme of the District Cultural Forum. The museums are operated in collaboration with the Local History and Museum Association and are an integral part of the cultural offerings of the city of Pfullendorf. ** Dates:** - Saturday, May 9, 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. - Saturday, September 5, 2:00 p.m. No registration is required. The Classroom can be explored on your own every Saturday from May 9 to October 30, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free. **Registration** is **not** required!
