Short and sweet: 1-day beginner's seminar "Identifying fruit varieties"

Are Brettacker, Gewürzluike, and Kardinal Bea nothing more than melodious names to you? We want to change that! Join us as we delve into the flavorful world of pomology. Join us in the delicious world of pomology and learn the basics of identifying the most common regional apple varieties. Tasting, smelling, and sampling are naturally part of the experience. You will also learn which varieties can be used for what, which trees may be growing on your property, and which varieties are particularly suitable for replanting. The seminar provides basic knowledge on identifying the most common apple varieties in the region. We will learn methods for identifying varieties, such as identifying characteristics and identification literature. Afterwards, regional varieties will be identified and discussed together. A visit to the fruit variety nature trail with a joint discussion of the typical habit and growth form of each variety rounds off the day.
