Minetti Quartet meets The Düsseldorf Düsterboys

What happens when the renowned Minetti Quartet meets the songs of the Düsseldorf Düsterboys with works from the classical string quartet repertoire? Both chamber music and pop fans are sure to be excited for the answer! With their "outernational Folk-Pop," the Düsseldorf Düsterboys are among the most exciting German-speaking bands at the moment. Their albums "Nenn mich Musik" (2020) and "Duo Duo" (2023) have both been awarded the annual prize of the German Record Critics. However, they don't actually have much to do with Düsseldorf: Pedro Goncalves Crescenti and Peter Rubel are originally from Mainz and are now based in Essen. The laid-back cuddle folk from the Ruhr area meets Austrian local heroes at the Brucknerhaus: The Vienna-based Minetti Quartet has been at home in all the major concert halls around the world since its nomination as ECHO Rising Stars and is also a welcome guest at the Brucknerhaus.
