Soft light falls on worn tables, snippets of conversation break through the sound of music, the spirit of revolution hangs in the air. It is late – perhaps too late? – yet no one here thinks of leaving. VELVET NIGHTS AND BROKEN DREAMS transports you to a night that tastes of departure, of dreams too big not to be lived, of a city that promises everything and forgives nothing.

For the opening of the new season, our stage transforms into a basement bar in 1960s New York – a place where music is not just played and loved, but lived. Here, poets meet rebels, the lost meet visionaries, and between beats, rock, and gentle melancholy, moments of painful beauty emerge. The ensemble brings to the stage songs that have defined the era, including pieces by Patti Smith, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, and other voices of the time. Some songs that have already touched the audience in PERFECT MOMENT return, while others are newly added.

Our song evening VELVET NIGHTS AND BROKEN DREAMS is a journey into a time when everything seemed possible, a tribute to a city that never sleeps, to those who rub against it, and to the music that holds them together. An evening for all who know that even in the most beautiful nights, the deepest abysses are hidden.
