Friday at 5 | The Early History of Altenstadt

Where sacrifices were made in the Bronze Age and where the Romans rested. Farmers in Altenstadt repeatedly found shards and animal bones in the soil while plowing. When excavations were conducted there, surprising remains of a mysterious structure over 3000 years old were discovered. The name "Clunia" is noted on a Roman road map. This Roman rest station must have been located in the Vorarlberg highlands. But where exactly? In Brederis, Altenstadt, Koblach, Rankweil, or Göfis? Altenstadt has a good chance in this regard.
