The entertaining boat trip on the MS Seestern departs from Gaienhofen and Steckborn, travels along the Swiss Thurgau shore to Ermatingen, and on the German side around Reichenau Island into Lake Ganden to Allensbach, returning via Lake Zeller to Steckborn and Gaienhofen.
Guests will learn interesting and astonishing facts about pirates, painters, poets, and murderers, monks, drunkards, nuns, and excerpts from the history of the individual towns, narrated by Marion Preuss, who settled in Hemmenhofen a few years ago after working as a Swiss TV presenter.
