Gin Hike

The hiking trail is a section of the Butterfly Trail, which stretches along the south and north sides of the Diemel River. Our route - the "Round with a View" - covers nearly 9.5 km with about 230 meters of elevation gain. The walking time is approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours. During the hike, you can expect exciting explanations about the unique features of our region and the Diemel Valley.
After the hike, you will be welcomed at the Ginkirche with a regional, hearty snack and a welcome drink, Sloe Gin & Tonic.
