Terroir & Tannins – The GeoWineTour

This special Black Forest guide tour combines in-depth insights into the geology and history of the Northern Black Forest with a delightful exploration of the regional wine culture. The classic GeoTour is enhanced by a guided wine tasting featuring five selected regional wines. At suitable waypoints, not only beautiful views unfold, but also flavorful perspectives. For each wine, there are backgrounds, stories, and regional connections, all while maintaining the tour's central theme. The content focus remains clearly on the formation of the landscape and its geological peculiarities, the history of Bad Teinach and the Württemberg aristocracy, the settlement history of the forest village communities, the transformation of forest and fields, as well as the visible impacts of climate change on the Black Forest ecosystem.
