16th Emmendingen City Run

The running event in the region! Bambini run, kindergarten run, student runs, fun run, and Emmendingen 10K. In 2009, the city of Emmendingen launched the city run. This running event in the city center is designed to appeal to both young and old, providing a platform for participants of all ages. Children from kindergartens and schools will measure their running performance on various distances, just like employees from companies and members of clubs in the fun run. The highlight is the officially measured "Emmendingen Ten," a ten-kilometer running course that attracts both hobby and professional runners to the city. Kids receive medals and sometimes T-shirts, while adults get a certificate. Winners also receive additional prizes. Run through Emmendingen's old town > past the castle and city church > through the city gate to Goethe Park > to the finish line in the marketplace > for the subsequent festival!
