Seven passionate musicians, some of whom are well known in the Calw area through other ensembles such as Stimm3, JazziCa, and the Althengstett teachers' band, take you on a journey into togetherness. From a wide variety of eras and styles, you will hear groovy songs that underscore togetherness in all its aspects. The repertoire ranges from simple blues to lively Latin rhythms, rousing rock and pop songs, and soulful ballads to sophisticated jazz pieces, resulting in a varied program – there is something for everyone! Songs by well-known artists such as Joe Cocker, Caro Emerald, Michael Buble, Pharrell Williams, Nik Kershaw, etc. are performed in their own interpretation, but there are also instrumental pieces. B.L.A.U. is not only the band's name, but also the color of their stage performance, which captivates audiences with its unique blend of energy, passion, and enthusiasm. The music encourages listeners to listen and enjoy, as well as dance and sing along.
