Large International Carnival Parade

On February 15, 2026, the Grand International Carnival Parade will take place on Carnival Sunday, featuring over 100 groups from Germany and neighboring countries. Carnival is deeply rooted in Emmendingen, which is also reflected in the large number of carnival clubs. The castle square transforms into a carnival village. The festive activities are accompanied by musical performances, and the Emmendingen carnival clubs take care of the catering. In Emmendingen, the revelers greet each other with AJO!
