HARD AND HEAVY FESTIVAL Metal Forever The only international metal festival in the region is back for its 14th round with the motto "Metal Forever." Participating bands include: Mortician (A), Venator (A), Broken Fate (CH), Vision Denied (D), and Recycler (A/CH/FL). We offer perfect conditions for a covered summer festival, with plenty of grass, great catering, open beer, a bar, and more.

MORTICIAN Since 1983, Mortician has been rocking the local metal scene, and it looks like they will continue to do so for a long time! After their last studio album "40 Years of Metal" and the released video "Kind of the Ring," Mortician can be seen live more often again. The highlight, aside from the Hard and Heavy Festival, was their concert tour to Shanghai in 2025, where Mortician played two concerts at the renowned club "The Pearl" in September and a concert in London in March 2026.

VENATOR secured their place in the European underground with their "Paradiser" EP and the subsequent album "Echoes from the Gutter." After three years filled with concerts, festivals, and tours, their new album "Psychodrome" will also satisfy fans of bands like Judas Priest, WASP, and Tokyo Blade. Fast dual guitar work, dynamic bass lines, and driving drums lay the perfect foundation for the powerful vocals of frontman Hans Huemer. Steel City heavy metal at its best!

Broken Fate was founded in 2007. The band impressed with an energetic stage presence and a powerful mix of modern thrash metal, metalcore, and hard rock. In June 2015, Broken Fate signed a record deal with Massacre Records. On November 6, 2015, the long-awaited debut album "The Bridge Between" was finally released worldwide. A year later, in the fall of 2016, Broken Fate embarked on their first major European tour with the cult band Anvil, playing in Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Germany – a complete success. They followed up with further releases in 2018, 2021, and 2024. Between May 2024 and January 2025, Broken Fate supported renowned acts like RAGE and THOMAS GODOJ and played at numerous festivals in Germany and Switzerland.

VISION DENIED takes the audience on a journey to a distant, dark galaxy. With an explosive mix of fast-paced power metal anthems and symphonically orchestrated epic hymns, they bring their futuristic world of the current album "Age of the Machine" directly to the stage.

Recycler is a rock band from Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Austria. All four members have played in numerous well-known bands in the region, including Kharma, Lovechild, Meisterrocker, Anexxe, Love4Sale, Slam Dunk, DropDown, and several other renowned projects in the Rhine Valley. They write and perform exclusively their own original songs and music pieces. Their sound has its roots in hard rock, stoner rock, hard 'n heavy metal, and melodic rock.
