"Slugs." Novel
Annemarie Andre, born in 1994 in Waidhofen/Ybbs, lives and works in Vienna and Amsterdam. She studied art history, followed by journalism and new media in Vienna. She has contributed journalistic pieces to the daily newspapers Der Standard and Die Presse, as well as to the art magazine Parnass, and has published literary works in various outlets including die Rampe, etcetera. Awards:
Finalist in the team competition at the German-speaking Poetry Slam Championships 2015; LitArena 2015, 3rd place
Young Literature Carousel Lower Austria 2014, 1st place. Slugs is her first novel. For the manuscript, she received the Hans-Weigel Literature Scholarship in 2022/23.
