Physicist Thomas Schimmel researches and teaches as a university professor at the University of Karlsruhe. He is the director of the Center for Single Atom Technologies and a co-founder of the Institute for Nanotechnology, and he has been repeatedly honored with prestigious awards for his research. In light of the findings of modern science, can one still believe in God? Here, the scientist points to the laws and orders in nature and seeks to recognize the influence of a creator within them. Professor Schimmel will explain to us, in the spirit of Max Planck, one of the fathers of modern physics, that science and faith are not opposites but rather complement and condition each other.
