8. Hallstättersee Ice Swimming and Austrian Championships

Venue for the Austrian Championships and for the first time the IISA World Cup

This is the eighth consecutive time that ice swimming at Lake Hallstatt is taking place in the region, and it will be held on the northern shore of Lake Hallstatt in the municipality of Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee, in the bay of Untersee.

The swimming will take place in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Hallstatt on four lanes, each 25 meters long.

For the competitions, the heated boathouse of the water rescue service and temperature-controlled changing rooms will be available, as well as two sauna barrels and a hot tub for warming up.
