Plastics shape our everyday lives – from packaging to mobility, medicine, and electronics. They are lightweight, versatile, and enable technological and societal progress, but they also increase pressure on the environment and resources when disposed of carelessly. The evening will demonstrate why plastics remain indispensable as materials and how a conscious, circular-oriented approach can preserve their value. A meaningful plastic recycling process will be explained, highlighting the role we can all play in it. At the same time, music will explore plastic as a material, as a sound source or symbol, thus opening new perspectives on this substance.
