The president of the Chopin Society with a solo recital!
The president of the Chopin Society, Anna Adamik, has often been seen on stage – as a chamber musician, song accompanist, and as a soloist in shared concerts. However, she has not yet given a pure solo evening. She is now making up for this with a diverse program, in which she will naturally play works by our namesake, but also pieces by Debussy and her compatriot György Kurtág, who will celebrate his 100th birthday in 2026. The highlight will be the performance of Mussorgsky's magnificent work "Pictures at an Exhibition," that colorful cycle which is particularly well-known in Ravel's orchestration, but also makes an impact in its original version.
