Mild summer nights and breathtaking sunsets accompanied by music. “Handcrafted live music featuring guitar and vocals. Johannes Preis, aka *Joandtheguitar*, provides the soundtrack for unforgettable moments.” Music has been a part of his life since childhood. Through training in trumpet and drums, he developed a strong sense of rhythm and musical understanding at an early age. The foundation for **Joandtheguitar** was laid over ten years ago during a 16-month trip around the world. Since the trumpet and drums were unsuitable for traveling, he looked for a portable instrument that would allow him to make music and sing together with others anywhere in the world. In Thailand, he finally settled on an acoustic guitar—a small travel guitar he bought on a whim by the roadside. He taught himself to play the guitar using YouTube videos. Despite initial challenges, he quickly developed a great enthusiasm for the sound of the acoustic guitar and its versatile applications.
