Citizen University: Is this the future or can it be discarded?

Deep changes that companies are currently facing are highlighted. Digitalization, artificial intelligence, new work models, demographic change, and altered consumer behavior require new strategies and future-oriented thinking. Speaker: Prof. Dr. Maximilian Lude, an expert in innovation and future design in small and medium-sized enterprises. Under the slogan "CURIOSITY. KNOWLEDGE. FUTURE.", the Heilbronn Citizens' University lecture series has been offered since 2015 as a cooperative event by the partners TUM Campus Heilbronn, Heilbronner Stimme, and Dieter Schwarz Foundation. Each year, three free lectures are offered with changing speakers, addressing current issues from science, business, and society. The topics are characterized by high scientific quality and strong societal relevance, presented in an understandable manner, and made accessible to a broad audience. The educational campus sees itself not only as a place of learning and research for students and educators but also as an open meeting space for citizens from Heilbronn and the entire region—regardless of age or prior knowledge. The current lecture is titled "Is this the future or can it go?" and examines the profound changes that companies are currently facing. Digitalization, artificial intelligence, new work models, demographic change, and altered consumer behavior require new strategies and future-oriented thinking.
