Round trip from Eberbach: Once around the Katzenbuckel ...

**Start/End: Eberbach – the exact meeting point will be announced upon registration.** A scenic loop starting in Eberbach around the Katzenbuckel, the highest peak in the Odenwald. Mountains and valleys, forests, fields, and meadows—wonderful! Our interesting and scenically stunning tour begins in the picturesque Staufer town on the Neckar River. Shortly after leaving the old town, we’ll head toward Unterdielbach via the Breitenstein. The climb is manageable for experienced cyclists or e-bike riders, with moderate gradients and nearly continuous shade provided by the forest. Once we reach the plateau, we can catch our breath and enjoy the first magnificent views before exploring the beautiful area through meadows, fields, and once again through the forest. Out in nature, we’ll be close to history and the highest peak of the Odenwald. Often, we’ll even catch a whiff of Christmas. If conditions are right, we’ll even do a little “kneip” therapy! Knowing we have good brakes on our bikes, we roll downhill in a relaxed manner, enjoy the view of the Höllgrund Valley, and take a short break at the Holzner Mill. The route through the Höllgrund and along the Itter River finally leads us back to Eberbach.
