For the sixth time, the award-winning duo "Sing Your Soul" from northern Schleswig-Holstein, featuring Meike Salzmann and Ulrich Lehna, will be performing a special summer concert at the Petruskirche Kattenhorn with their unique combination of various clarinets and concert accordion. The duo "Sing Your Soul" is the winner of the international music competition "Open Accordion Contest 2014," which took place in Bielefeld. The musicians aim to interpret well-known and unknown melodies in such a way that the music touches the soul, as the name suggests. With the expressive and exceedingly rare combination of up to five different clarinets (e.g., bass and alto clarinet) and concert accordion, we offer interesting programs featuring various music styles, including classical, contemporary music, Klezmer, tango, and popular music. In recent years, we have performed in the most beautiful churches in Germany and at renowned chamber music series and festivals in Germany, Italy, Denmark, and Austria, such as the Wieskirche, the Carmelite Church of the Mainz Monastery, the Schleswig Cathedral, the Erlöserkirche Gerolstein, the Heilig-Kreuz Passion Church in Berlin, the Stadtkirche Bückeburg, "World Music Festival Innsbruck," "International Bassethorn Festival," and many more.
