Further information at: **sing-your-soul.jimdofree.com** For the sixth time, the award-winning duo "Sing Your Soul" from northern Schleswig-Holstein, featuring Meike Salzmann and Ulrich Lehna, will be performing a special summer concert at Petruskirche Kattenhorn with their unique combination of various clarinets and concert accordion. The duo "Sing your Soul" is the winner of the international music competition "Open Accordion Contest 2014," which took place in Bielefeld. As the name suggests, the musicians' goal is to interpret well-known and unknown melodies in such a way that the music touches the soul. With an expressive and extremely rare combination of up to five different clarinets (e.g., bass and alto clarinet) and concert accordion, we offer interesting programs of different musical styles from classical, new music, klezmer, tango, and light music. In recent years, we have performed in some of Germany's most beautiful churches and in renowned chamber music series and festivals in Germany, Italy, Denmark, and Austria: e.g., the Wieskirche, the Carmelite Church of the Mainz Monastery, Schleswig Cathedral, the Church of the Redeemer in Gerolstein, the Heilig-Kreuz-Passionskirche in Berlin, the Stadtkirche in Bückeburg, the World Music Festival Innsbruck, the International Basset Horn Festival, and many more.
