As part of the Traunsee Sailing Week 2026, the H-Boat IÖSTM (International Austrian State Championship) 2026 will be held on the southern shore of Lake Traun, in the area of the Ebensee Sailing Club. Exciting races can be expected against a stunning backdrop and high-class sailing.
Visitors can particularly enjoy the action from the so-called "old Traunkirchnerstraße," the former road section between Ebensee and the Lion Monument, which is located right by the shore. However, access is only permitted on foot or by bicycle (no entry for cars and motorbikes). The walking time from the Ebensee landing stage is approximately 20 minutes.
