With the Höri ferry MS Seestern to the art ship in Steckborn Enjoyable trip with music and a stopover to contemporary artworks of the cross-border project "hänne und dänne". The project "hänne und dänne: The Untersee as an Art Space" offers three round trips in the summer. The opening of the project "hänne und dänne: The Untersee as an Art Space" on May 1, 2026, is approaching. In the municipalities of Berlingen, Gaienhofen, and Steckborn, 15 artistic positions will be presented that highlight the connection of the three Untersee municipalities. All artworks will be on display from May 1 to September 27 at easily accessible locations – either independently or as part of a guided art walk. The course ship becomes the art ship In collaboration with the Untersee and Rhein Shipping Company, three Sunday round trips with the art ship will take place in the summer of 2026. The ship will serve as a stage for music and theatrical performances and will lead passengers – accompanied by art educator Judit Villiger – to various artistic positions of the project, with a stopover in Gaienhofen. The tour will conclude with a guided tour of selected works in Steckborn. The meeting point is at 3:00 PM at the Schifflände Steckborn, where Lisa Kull, president of the "hänne und dänne" association, will welcome the guests. The round trip ends at 5:55 PM at the Seeschulhaus Steckborn. The trips will take place on the following Sundays: June 21, June 28, July 5, 2026.
