Durlach Fair 2026

Every year on the third Sunday in September, the church fair - or as it is called here, the "Kerwe" - takes place, which can look back on a tradition of over 400 years. In 1991, the Durlach local council entrusted the organization of the Kerwe to the Working Group of Durlach and Auer Associations, which revitalized the "aged" event with a new concept and successfully reactivated it. Since 2002, the Kerwe has been organized and held by the Karlsruhe Showmen's Association. Tradition and modernity: Baden hospitality at the Durlach Kerwe From September 19 to 22, 2025 (with a shopping Sunday on September 21), it will once again be: culinary delights and Baden joie de vivre at the Durlach Kerwe against the historic backdrop of the Karlsburg - and without limits. In addition to grill specialties such as the Baden Long Sausage, steak sandwiches, or the typical Kerwe dish (potato sausage with sauerkraut), this year there will again be pale and unfiltered pilsner, wheat beer, sweet radler, and several other varieties from the Waldhaus private brewery served by the Kießling family. The Weingarten wine cooperative is also new this year, and those craving something sweet will find themselves well catered for at the crêpe stand or the Filder confectionery. Alongside rides and face painting for the little ones, there will be a colorful musical and cultural program on the stage in front of the Karlsburg.
