In the midst of a harsh winter, 15-year-old Leo (Juli Grabenhenrich) travels to the coast of Northern Italy to find the man who has been missing all these years: her father Paolo (Luca Marinelli). Paolo, who has long been living a different life, is taken by surprise by Leo's arrival. What begins as a quiet hope turns into a confrontation with old wounds, unresolved questions, and new longings. Amid closed beach bars, the winter light over the sea, and moments of tentative silence and loud anger, a fragile connection develops that leaves no one untouched.
A coming-of-age film about closeness and distance, about responsibility, missed opportunities – and the delicate hope for a fresh start.
