Radstadt Cycling Day

In Radstadt, the well-established "Radstadt fährt Rad" serves as a replacement for the traditional "Amadé Radmarathon," which can no longer be held due to declining participant numbers in recent years.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, marking not only the start of the cycling season but also the official kickoff for the Stoneman Taurista season. The Stoneman Taurista, with its 134 kilometers and 4,500 meters of elevation gain, is the ultimate challenge for mountain bikers from all over Europe. To sweeten the start weekend for the bikers, Radstadt Tourism is sponsoring all bikers who officially start their adventure in Radstadt with a dining voucher that can be redeemed at all Radstadt restaurants.

There will also be a full program in the city center: starting from noon, there will be a great children's program featuring a bouncy castle, pump track, and free ice cream for every child at the town square. Culinary delights will also be well taken care of.

As in previous years, participants in Radstadt fährt Rad will again have two guided tours to choose from. One is the family tour, which leads from Radstadt to the wildlife park in Untertauern, where a small refreshment awaits everyone. The other is the enjoyment tour, which takes bikers to Rossbrand with three stops. The stops include Mandlberggut, Oberhagmoosalm, and Radstädter Hütte – at each of these stops, bikers can expect a special regional delicacy.
All cycling enthusiasts who participate in Radstadt fährt Rad will take part in the raffle. Coffee and cake will be served. All mentioned food items are included in the entry fee for "Radstadt fährt Rad."
