Fancy visiting a castle and lake? Easy bike ride in the Weinsberg Valley

Completely stress-free: first, relax on the way up to the castle ruins, then cycle gently down to the lake and leisurely back through Lehrensteinsfeld to the valley and your starting point. Perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy nature and culture in a relaxed setting! We cycle into the Weinberger Valley on mostly easy-to-ride bike paths between the vineyards. The first stop takes us to the [Weibertreu castle ruins](https://www.heilbronnerland.de/poi/burgruine-weibertreu), where we can take a tour and learn more about their historical significance. We then continue on flat terrain to the recreational area around Breitenauer See (https://www.heilbronnerland.de/poi/breitenauer-see-naherholungsgebiet-badesee). From there, we cycle leisurely via Willsbach and Lehrensteinsfeld, past the castle, along bike paths and forest trails towards Weinsberg. Helmets are mandatory on the tours. A roadworthy bicycle (a racing bike is not suitable) and appropriate tools, a pump, a spare inner tube, and a bike lock are also essential. Even though we will be stopping at "fuel stations" along the way, it is advisable to bring a full water bottle and some snacks. Clothing should always be appropriate for the weather. ### E-bikes The increasing number of participants with license-free e-bikes is also very welcome. The following always applies to the tours offered: The pace in a mixed group is determined by the slower riders. These are usually the "non-e-bikers." Consideration among cyclists is a matter of course. ### Liability Each participant rides at their own risk; the bike guide is not liable for any physical injury or property damage sustained by the participant. The instructions of the bike guide must be followed on the guided tour. With regard to these instructions, the bike guide is only liable for intent and gross negligence.
