Sociability is just as important here as a good glass of wine. Classic Besen dishes are served alongside the house wines, lovingly prepared by Daniel and his kitchen team. Known far beyond the city limits is the homemade potato salad made from an old family recipe. For a small hunger, there are hearty Besen breads – down-to-earth, honest, and just right. The Besen is open only five weeks a year, with space for around 80 guests. So, it’s quite likely you’ll meet a familiar face. And if not, the Swabian openness quickly leads to new encounters.
