The projects awarded in the framework of the Timber Construction Award and presented in the exhibition are complemented by current questions regarding the entire wood value chain, including the impacts of climate change on forestry and timber management, as well as the opportunities of digitalization for value creation processes in craftsmanship. In addition to facts and best-practice projects, the exhibition deliberately aims for an emotional appeal: Experts and "colorful characters" from the forestry and timber industry dispel myths and convey enthusiasm for the building material wood. Through these lively testimonials, wood becomes tangible not only rationally but also emotionally. The modular exhibition begins its tour across the country at the afo.
