Roundabout

Roundabout is an Austrian jazz quartet that is considered one of the most exciting newcomers in the young local scene, thanks to its dynamic blend of neo-soul, R’n’B, and modern jazz. The four musicians – Moritz Lindner (drums), Henrik Stöllinger (bass), Alexander Danninger (keys), and Manú Kreutzer (saxophone) – came together at Pop Borg Linz and are now studying at the Jazz Institute of Bruckner University. With their energetic yet finely nuanced sound, the band has quickly made a name for itself. Their debut EP "Sidequest," released in 2025, showcases Roundabout as a collective that combines groove, joy of playing, and compositional maturity. Live, the group impresses with organic improvisations, strong ensemble cohesion, and a modern sound that captivates across genres. Roundabout is among the most promising young voices in Austrian jazz – distinctive, precise, and full of musical curiosity.
