A sea voyage is fun, a sea voyage is beautiful. Eva Maria Marold has accepted a position as a singer on a large cruise ship. Dream job or disaster? The ocean is infinitely vast, the cabins are outrageously cramped, and the passengers are unbearably human. Fortunately, there are Eva's fantastic musicians (non-swimmers), who support her not only musically but also morally. The mood remains upbeat. The weather and the hairstyle do too. Until suddenly, in the middle of one of the countless oceans, the ship gets into distress. In fast forward, Eva's life flashes before her mind's eye.
