Culinary tour with the Steyr night watchmen from the highest tower to the deepest cellar! Embark on a quest to uncover traces of the past during the extraordinary night watchman Dine-around.

On this special guided tour, you will experience a culinary journey to surprise locations. A night watchman in traditional attire, armed with a halberd and lantern, will accompany guests through the historic city center. After a welcome with a glass of sparkling wine and the night watchman’s song “Alle meine liabn Herrn und Frauen, lasst Euch sagn…” at the night watchman restaurant, you will ascend the tower of the parish church. The climb is rewarded with a breathtaking view of the old town of Steyr. Participants will enjoy the appetizer at the Steyrer Kripperl during a short performance of medieval craft scenes at the oldest still-operating puppet theater in Europe. The Steyr village soup will be served with traditional Upper Austrian music in the atmospheric Michaelerkeller, a two-story vaulted cellar that was once the wine cellar of the Michaeler Church. The journey concludes in the night watchman restaurant with the main course and dessert.
