Culinary tour with the night watchmen of Steyr from the highest tower to the deepest cellar! Embark on a quest to uncover traces of the past with the extraordinary night watchman Dine-around.

On this special guided tour, you will experience a culinary journey to surprise locations. A night watchman in traditional attire, armed with a halberd and lantern, will accompany guests through the historic city center. After a welcome with a glass of sparkling wine and the night watchman’s song “Alle meine liabn Herrn und Frauen, lasst Euch sagn...” at the night watchman restaurant, you will climb the tower of the parish church. The ascent is rewarded with a breathtaking view of the old town of Steyr.

Participants will enjoy the appetizer at Steyrer Kripperl during a short performance of medieval craft scenes from the oldest still-operating puppet theater in Europe. The Steyrdorfsuppe will be served with traditional Upper Austrian music in the atmospheric Michaelerkeller, which was once the wine cellar of the Michaeler Church. The journey concludes in the night watchman restaurant with the main course and dessert.
