On February 27 and 28, 2026, Alpendorf will once again transform into a mecca for electronic music! The Gipfelsessions Festival invites you to two days filled with top-notch DJ sets, a unique atmosphere, and breathtaking mountain views.

Look forward to unforgettable sets in the open air, spectacular sunsets, and exhilarating after-parties in the valley.
Admission is free – to access the Gernkogelalm Mountain Floor, you only need a valid lift ticket.

The Gernkogelalm St. Johann / Alpendorf is located next to the mountain station of the Obergassalmbahn.

Butz & Stingl Alpendorf
Butz & Stingl Terrace Level (next to the ski slope): 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Butz & Stingl Indoor Level: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Oberforsthofalm Alpendorf
Oberforsthofalm Terrace Level (next to the ski slope): 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Almbar Indoor Level: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM

Important Information:
Gernkogelalm Mountain Floor is only accessible by cable car/chairlift – lift ticket required!
Last ascent: Friday: 4:15 PM | Saturday: 4:15 PM
Last gondola ride: Friday: 4:15 PM | Saturday: 4:15 PM
After that, it is only possible to ski/snowboard down to the valley!
Strict slope closure from 7:00 PM! After 7:00 PM, it is strictly prohibited for your own safety to enter the slopes!
