It is said that accompanying a voice makes a pianist a better person. The powerfully expressive Michael Hornek proves to be as sensitive as he is a congenial sound designer alongside the eloquent Austro-Chanson singer Willi Landl, whose occasionally anarchic lyrics exude an irresistible wit.

A light-handed performance and extremely relaxed enjoyment beyond the usual jazz-pop-chanson conventions.

Ribisel - produced by Michael, live in a duo!

Tom Hornek, the great cousin of the aforementioned Michael and equally dedicated to the keys, returns with his combo to our stage, bringing a mix of predominantly original songs and selected covers. The range spans from soulful, emotional ballads to bluesy, groovy, funky songs, and especially humorous songs about life for life. There is always room for improvisation and spontaneity. This works perfectly with the empathetic and long-time companions Hannes Kasehs, Roman Kovacs, and last but not least, Michael Strasser.
