Public Tour - Tough Women in Meßkirch's History

They were pioneers, school principals, abbesses, and politicians. Crisis intervention, innovation, advocacy for those in need of support, and the preservation of values were their themes – the women who will be the focus of this city tour. A particular emphasis will be placed on Katharina von Zimmern (1478 in Meßkirch; † August 17, 1547 in Zurich), the last abbess of the significant Fraumünster, who, during the Reformation, preserved Zurich from violent escalation through her prudence and determination.
