Bluatschink, together with energetic brass players, creates a lively party atmosphere from the very first moment. As another highlight, Brassclub takes the stage one last time, making this night an unforgettable experience! A must for all brass music fans! Bluatschink plays Blasschink - "Dialect Brass from the Lechtal."
In the mid-nineties, when songs like "Funka fliaga" or "I han di gera" conquered the charts in the Alpine region, everyone was surprised by the dialect, which many people simply could not clearly assign to Tyrol, Bavaria, or Vorarlberg. But regardless of whether one can understand every word or not, the melodies are catchy tunes that stick in your head.
The songwriting duo Margit & Toni Knittel can be experienced from time to time in a small duo format - just two voices and two guitars. Nothing more - but also nothing less! However, when it’s said “Bluatschink plays Blasschink” – then the couple from the Lechtal has brought in reinforcements. A large group then takes the stage and proves that the Bluatschink songs are also made for this version. Depending on the lineup, there can be up to 10 musicians at work, and you can be sure that the songs will blow through the concert halls of the country like a fresh, exuberant mountain breeze. And what has always been customary with Bluatschink: The audience is already singing along after just a few bars! Dialect or not - there’s simply no stopping it!
The arrangements of the songs are familiar from the radio in full ensemble: Along with the Austropop sound featuring electric guitar, drums, bass, and keyboard, top musicians from the brass music sector are now also joining in. Musically, Johannes Bär is directing this ensemble – known throughout the country from HMBC. And Bluatschink will grace the Kulturhaus Dornbirn a month before this lineup will be heard at the legendary Woodstock of Brass Music – of course on the main stage!
Brassclub
The story of Brassclub began at the end of 2013. A bunch of musicians from various backgrounds came together to produce good sound. It quickly became clear that they didn’t just want to do anything, but rather a good mix of everything. Thus, a direction emerged that consists of "Brass" and "Club sound" - Brassclub was born.
At the district music festival in Lingenau in 2022, Brassclub ended its stage career. However, after a brief revival in 2025 – also in Lingenau – the motivation flared up again. Therefore, the guys from Brassclub could not resist stepping onto the stage one last time for their long-time supporter Wolfgang Preuß.
