The Long Journey of Water – Clausthaler Flutgraben and Wolfswarte

On this more athletic hike, you will discover the wilderness of the national park and learn a lot about the changes in the forest landscape. We will climb a scenic mountain and choose the return route along the Clausthaler Flutgraben. Our World Heritage guide will show you the diverse paths of water in the Upper Harz, the historical ditch system established for mining, and why the Clausthalers diverted water from the Sankt Andreasberg residents...
