It is May 23, 1863. The geology professor Otto Steinbrock discovers a yellowed parchment with mystical characters and apparently incredible content in the ancient Icelandic book of his student Alexander von Humboldt: "Descend into the crater of Sneffels Jökull and you will reach the center of the Earth..." Unbelievable! Nevertheless, he allows himself to be persuaded by Alexander to embark on this dangerous adventure together. What the two experience on their journey, you can see with your own eyes!
