Pure wilderness: Mountain biking in the tracks of lynx and wildcat

Guided moderate MTB half-day tour for advanced bikers through the Harz National Park. This tour involves some elevation gain. Additionally, expect trails with a few exposed sections. We will take our time to explore the particularly protected nature of the northern German low mountain range. The lynx, after its successful reintroduction, has become the symbol of the national park. With a bit of luck, we might spot this magnificent cat at the Rabenklippe. After a short, challenging trail section, we will arrive in the Eckertal, an area in the national park that is largely untouched by human influence. From the Eckerstausee, the tour will continue to the wildcat enclosure at the Marienteichbaude. Self-catering is required. There are dining options available at the forest inns Rabenklippe and Marienteichbaude. Equipment: Helmets are mandatory! A technically sound MTB is required. eMTBs are welcome.
