The Oderteich - once the largest dam in Germany

The goal of the hike with our UNESCO World Heritage guide is the Oderteich with its impressive dam - one of the most significant structures of the Upper Harz water management system. Along the way, we will experience the wilderness of the national park, discover moor plants and water ditches, and there will be plenty of interesting information about nature, forest change, and the mining history of the Harz region. Surefootedness is required, and a packed lunch is recommended.
