High Up: MTB Family Tour to the Brocken

Guided easy half-day MTB tour for families with children through the Harz National Park. This tour involves only a few elevation changes. We take our time to explore the particularly protected nature of the northern German low mountain range. Finally, vacation! Following in Goethe's footsteps and through the newly emerging wilderness, we gradually approach the Brocken, the highest peak in northern Germany at 1,141 m above sea level. In a playful manner, we learn about some of the unique features of the Harz region. Why are so many spruces sick? What will the forest look like in 10 years? What animals find refuge in a national park? How can we, as humans, behave so that nature remains impressively accessible in the future?
