Peat Day at the Peat Ship Harbor

The combination of traditional craftsmanship, peat boat rides, and regional dishes makes the peat ship harbor and the village museum of Kuhstedtermoor popular destinations for the whole family on Peat Day. At the peat ship harbor, peat boat rides are offered, regional vendors showcase their goods, and there are also grilled sausages and fries available for a little snack. Together with the local heritage association "De Treidlers von Kuhstermoor e. V.," Peat Day will once again be a varied event this year, taking place at the peat ship harbor and on the grounds of the Kuhstedtermoor local museum. The Moor-Molly train runs between both event locations.
