Moor Harbor Harvest Festival at the Peat Ship Harbor

With a colorful program, the peat boat captains of Findorff's heirs bid farewell to the winter break. Highlights of the event at the peat ship harbor in Gnarrenburg include the arrival and departure parades of the peat boats at around 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM, with participation from the peat boat captains from Adolphsdorf and Osterholz-Scharmbeck. On the harbor grounds, artisans and local vendors offer their goods. Tours with the peat boats and the Moor-Molly provide entertainment. Children can look forward to a bouncy castle and puppet theater. There is also plenty of food available, including potato pancakes, buckwheat pancakes, and hearty soup.
