EXTENDED: "Annual Exhibition 2025" of the "Open Circle - Artistic Creation" at the Art Circle

The Art Circle Kloster Brunshausen continues its successful exhibition series and presents this year the "Annual Exhibition 2025" of the group "Open Round - Artistic Creation." Visitors can look forward to a diverse presentation of painting, graphics, and mixed media.

Open Round – A Creative Alliance with a Long Tradition
The group now known as "Open Round - Artistic Creation" originated from former basic courses and the "Open Drawing Group" founded in 2009. As the interest of many participants increasingly shifted towards painting, the group was renamed last year. The open character remains: Interested individuals of all ages can participate free of charge at any time, whether once, for a short period, or permanently – an offer that is also gladly utilized by holidaymakers and spa guests.

The Development of the Art Circle
Since its founding in 1986, the Art Circle initially focused on pure exhibitions, particularly promoting students from the University of Fine Arts (HBK) from the 2000s onwards. With the new concept starting in 2010, additional offerings were introduced: museum trips, studio visits, art lectures, film evenings, and creative activities for children. Since 2017, the "Open Round" has worked annually on individual themes, which are presented in a joint exhibition. The regular creative work not only strengthens artistic skills and motivation but also social cohesion – particularly noteworthy in a group whose participants are between 65 and 90 years old and yet come together weekly with great joy and energy.

The Artists of 2025
This year, nine artists will present their works, including long-standing members and new faces:

Other exhibitors: Corrie Schünemann (Kalefeld-Sebexen), Brigitte Kesten (Einbeck), Rita Martin (Bad Gandersheim), Manfred Braun (Dassel), Heidrun Hübner (Einbeck), Karin Bargstädt (Bad Gandersheim), Barbara Kirchhoff (Bad Gandersheim).

The opening will be musically accompanied by singer Janin Rabe (Bad Herzberg), who will create an atmospheric ambiance with heartfelt ballads.
