In the National Park House, we have a laboratory where the animals we previously collected from the mudflat can be observed in peace and warmth. Under the microscope or binoculars, the gills of the lugworm, the feet of the barnacles, and many other surprising things suddenly become visible. Without wind and weather influences, the heart and pepper clams can also be examined closely. Perhaps a digging foot will appear, or maybe the antennae of a snail? Those who wish can also practice scientific drawing, expertly and playfully guided by the staff of the National Park House Dornumersiel.
