Spectacular Water Show in the Spa Park
The Illuminated Fountains of the Volunteer Fire Brigade Soltau not only make the city of Soltau shine in vibrant colors but also regularly illuminate the Heide Park and national as well as international locations. With Germany's largest portable water organ, the members of the fire brigade create a spectacle of light, sound, and water. Since its founding in the 1950s, the technical installation has been continuously improved, renewed, and expanded. Today, the perfectly shaped fountains reach heights of up to 30 meters and are known throughout Germany. Over 600 movable parts and 600 colored LED underwater spotlights highlight the fountains. The entire installation measures 25 x 27 meters and is buoyant thanks to air containers. Everything you see during the show is 100% manually controlled. Each pipe system is opened by hand, each beat is manually passed to the fountains, and each color is activated by hand. This makes every performance of the Illuminated Fountains a unique event. On June 6, 2026, it will be time in Bad Pyrmont: The legendary fountains will be set up in the castle moat of Pyrmont Castle. As darkness falls, a spectacular one-hour show begins that is truly unparalleled.
