Winter at the Wadden Sea

Book your tickets here! (Participation only with prior registration) There is much to discover in the Wadden Sea National Park even in winter. Which animals and plants can be found here in winter? How do they cope with the cold and the storms? The guides from the National Park House will accompany you on this winter walk through the salt marshes of Dornumersiel, where we can observe many birds. Not all birds migrate south in winter. We will provide a spotting scope and binoculars for all participants. Then we will walk together along the dikes on solid paths. We will take in the unique atmosphere while keeping our feet dry and standing safely. Your Wadden guide will bring exciting creatures from the mudflat in a small bucket to show you. Those who wish and have rubber boots can also take a short guided walk into the mudflat towards the end of the tour.
