Ladies Ahoi on Juist - Shanties and Comedy Are shanties just for men? Traditionally, yes, but! Ladies Ahoi (as the name suggests) is a shanty duo made up of women. Hailing from St. Pauli, the ladies sing shanties (new, fresh, and uniquely interpreted) as well as hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. And there's a hefty dose of comedy that packs a punch. The two Ladies Ahoi are definitely one thing: authentic. And bold. And euphoric. And infectious. Well, that was more than "one thing," but never mind! Together with the audience, they will sing heartily!
